THE PATH

As I counsel or read for clients there is one question that is asked more often than any other. That question is phrased in different ways but it is basically the same.

The question may be “am I doing what I came to earth to do?” or “how can I tell if I am on my path?” or perhaps that all encompassing question “what is my life’s purpose?”

I am never surprised by those questions because I know it is true we each have deep within us the desire to be of service. We may give that urge different names but it is still that need to be as much as we can be, to use all of our abilities. It is that drive to succeed in a way that gives to our planet, to our personal selves and to each other.

We continually strive to feel that we are living fully. We simply cannot access our own completeness unless we are working from our hearts, from the depth of our soul. We yearn to make that important difference!

So you say to me “what is the answer?” “Where is my life path?” “Am I there?” “Have I found my path?”

I can offer you direction. I can give you insight. However, the real search is always up to you. The pursuit of purpose can occupy the major portion of this lifetime or it may be realized in one tremendous flash of inspiration. In either case it is well worth the effort.

The largest clue to knowing if your there, on point and following you purpose is emotion. When you feel so uplifted, completely immersed in and thrilled with your “work” that you could float with the ease of a helium filled balloon, you are there!

When the most difficult and arduous task is a joy to fulfill, you are there! When you cannot wait for the next challenge, you are there! When you leap out of bed in the morning with a grateful heart eager to give and to learn, you are on target and in the flow!

Nothing in this entire world is as delightful as doing what you were born to do. It gives a glow to every moment. It feels as if your heart overflows with love for everyone and everything.

The most amazing thing to me is that each one of you is entirely and completely unique. Each one of you is filled with talent and purpose and yet not one of you carries the same imprint. Each of you has a direction and purpose as unique as your fingerprints! Not one of you is expected to work out your destiny in exactly the same way.

My thought is this: Enjoy the search! Every experience you have puts you one step closer to accessing all that you can be. Life is a wondrous exploration. Be determined to live your life fully and with complete awareness. Your life journey is meant to elevate your soul and it will.

This is also a time of tremendous opportunity for uplifting the planet. People are coming together in a way that they never have before. There is an elevation of understanding within the human community and a working of Spirit that is exciting and holds great promise.

Determine to become part of this uplifting of our planet, this ascension. You are important and capable. Bless all of you for your Spirit led work and loving actions.
