ARE YOU ROUGHING IT?

My friend and I just got back from a camping trip. Did we lie under the stars in sleeping bags? Well, no, we did have a large tent. But we did lie directly on the tent floor on the ground. Oops, did I say there was an inflatable mattress on the tent floor?

As I was saying, we were out there roughing it! Of course, our campground was a well organized place with hot showers and electricity. That doesn’t count as modern convenience does it?

Then again I have to admit we brought an electric coffee pot and kept commiserating that we didn’t think of the electric skillet. It was a bit chilly at night, but we just turned on our electric heater.

Why am I telling you about our overly coddled camping trip? Simply because it brought to mind what “roughing it” actually might mean in regard to how we live our overly rationalized lives here on earth. Many times we chart our course or make our decisions based on earth knowledge and experience rather than true wisdom.

Could “roughing it” mean we choose to ignore the in-depth information that is readily available from our spirit and our soul?

Perhaps, we rough our way through our lives because we are too proud of our own human abilities to ask for the help of our guides and teachers. Does it seem foolish to anyone of you when we do not seek help from our personal angels?

Yes, I acknowledge that we are incarnated on the planet to learn our lessons and progress. However, I do not believe that we must do everything the hard way. It makes sense to me that if creating a closer connection with our highest energies brings a smoother, simpler life path and more accomplishment; we ought to forge that link!

Bringing elevated intuition or psychic knowledge to bear on our everyday decisions and activities will send us deeper into our individual life purpose and experience. Using our extrasensory perception to find our way through life is not so much a shortcut as it is an expansion of our lives.

If it is our desire to know our “complete” selves, our integrated physical, spirit, soul selves, the way will open. All the doors can open wide merely through our asking. The highest, greatest and deepest help is always available. It is up to us to ask and then take action!

Call out to your own I AM. Ask your guides. Ask your inner teachers. Invite whatever energy or spirit that you feel will help you to view your highest potential and most progressive pathway.

Please do not feel that you must “rough it” to become strong. Your strength lies in your willingness to call out for help. All direction and assistance are yours to invite.
